The Spirits Guidelines was created to support tasters and professionals navigating the complexity of global spirits categories.

Built on tasting data and structured using analytical tools developed by Wine Space, the Guidelines aim to provide a factual, no-nonsense reference grounded in production method, legal definition, and category logic.

The work is intended for professionals and experienced tasters. It is iterative by design and continues to evolve as categories, regulations, and evaluation practices develop.
